Sincere Support’s annual Charity Golf Day is taking place on Friday 1st September 2023 at the Phoenix Golf Club, Rotherham.
What is now a regular event in the Sincere Support fund raising calendar organised by founder/coordinator, Bev Lister and supported by local South Yorkshire based businesses is expected to attract around 100 local golf enthusiasts.
Last year – despite being a challenging year for fundraising – over £3,500 was raised to support the charity’s work help for parents and families with sick children in hospital or who have sadly been bereaved in the Yorkshire, North Midlands and Humberside region
“This will be the 18th Golf Day in support of Sincere Support. Over the years, the events have raised funds to support local people and families with sick children in hospital or those who have sadly been bereaved. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the Phoenix Golf Club and hopefully welcoming some new supporters too.”
Bacon sandwiches, tea & coffee will be served from 8am followed by a shotgun start at 9.15am. Lunch will be served at around 2pm, where an array of prizes will be presented to the winning teams.
Bev went on to say, “We’d love to hear from anyone that might be able to donate an auction prize for this year’s event or sponsor a hole and have their company logo displayed prominently on the tee.”
