Meadowhall Centre hosted a whole range of exciting activities for this celebration of Eid.
Storyteller and magician Arif Javid entertained visitors at the centre with traditional stories of The Genie of Samarkand and Rubiayat of Omar Khayyam, whilst Ghazal musicians showcased their popular South Asian classical music.
Meadowhall also be hosted Tanoura dancers, who shared the magic of the Egyptian folk dance by spinning to the rhythm of traditional Tawasheeh music.
Henna artists were stationed on the Upper High Street, treating shoppers to intricate designs in exchange for a donation to Meadowhall’s charity partner Sincere Support.
